Playtime; an urban game
2004-2005

“While a game is in progress everything is considered to be in motion, changeable, flexible… Every game functions in a certain sphere/field/environment which is predetermined in a material or imaginary way and follows certain rules. It forms a temporary world into the real world devoted to the performance of activities that are not related to the aspects of everyday life.” Johan Huizinga Homo Ludens. aaaaaaaaa Playtime represents an effort to create such a field. Games draw inspiration from elements of reality, which are then modified to help the process of a game. Playtime modifies the form and the use of the built environment and of the movement within it. It can be placed a in any urban space.
